Plot Registration Information 2014

  IMPORTANT NOTICE
2013 RETURNING GARDENERS AND NEW 2014 GARDENERS

          REVISED GARDEN PLOT REGISTRATION PROCESS

PREREGISTRATION

We want to see all your green thumbs and smiling faces again for 2014 growing season. In 2014, the preregistration of your 2014 plots is accomplished by our newly formed Telephone Committee’s individual phone calls in January.  Welcome to the several new gardeners who have preregistered.

We have been able to complete the preregistration because of our following revised process.

 1. Last year’s 2013 gardeners were contacted to confirm their return in 2014.

2 New gardeners who have requested plots by e-mail were then confirmed preregistered if we have open plots.

 3. Anytime during the process if there are no remaining open plots, a waiting list is started on a first come basis. Note (As of Feb 10, 2014 there is no waiting list. In fact we still have several open plots)

 FORMAL REGISTRATION

Formal registration involves the payment for your Plot Rental Fee of $20 for each plot. and the signing of your 2014 Plot Rental Agreement. This can be done easily once you receive the email with the Agreement.

Step 1.   Complete and sign the rental agreement.

Step 2.   Enclose the signed agreement and your cheque in a sealed envelope.

Step 3.   Deliver the envelope, addressed to the Garden Committee, at your earliest

convenience, in any one of the following ways.

            -  Hand-deliver (OR MAIL) it to the community center

          -  Bring it to the Soil Presentation March 8th at 9 AM

          -  Bring it to Movie-Night April 4th at 6:30 PM

          -  Bring it to the Garden clean up May 6th at10 AM

Delivering your Rental Agreement is your commitment to your fellow gardeners, that in the true spirit of community gardening, you will in some way volunteer to assist in garden team activities.

VOLUNTEERING IS ESSENTIAL !!
